Life moves people apart, so DoorDash created a new way to keep the ritual of eating together alive from anywhere. With Meals for Miles, we cut delivery fees on long-distance group orders and reward faraway friends by turning miles into points, and points into more reasons to Dash Away the Distance.

Meals for Miles
Every DoorDash profile gets a unique Friend Code. Share it with a faraway friend when placing a group order together. Delivery fees are automatically waived.
Place a long-distance group order and earn points based on how far apart you are. The more distance between you, the more Miles you earn.
Order together again using the same Friend Code to earn additional points. The more often you share meals with the same friend, the more it adds up.
Trade Miles in for Double Dash orders or DoorDash-branded rewards.

Dash the Distance Caffè
We’ll install caffès in different cities where you can deliver DoorDash straight to your table. To book, you and your faraway friend each reserve tables for two: one for you, one for your device. Prop up your screens and have a lunch date like old times.

DoorDash and a Movie
In collaboration with Teleparty, we’ve made dinner and a movie possible anywhere. During a stream, users will get pop-ups to order foods from iconic scenes when they show on screen. Order together and receive Meals for Miles points.

We’ll team up with Overcooked to get you and your friends more Meals for Miles points with every level completed as the all-new Dasher character.
Bikecoastal Delivery

In an influencer social series, Josh the bike delivery boy (@bikingdc) and a friend on opposite coasts collaborate on the world’s longest DoorDash, delivering a freeze-dried meal from LA and NYC to friends waiting at each end. The duo documents the adventure and all their interactions as they travel cross-country.

The Farthest Friend
We’ll invite folks to submit who and where their farthest friend is, and we’ll fly out the ones in the most remote, DoorDash-deficient places to have a proper catch-up meal in the middle.
